In terms of hardware the X7 looks quite radical for Nokia, the back is extremely curvy while the clipped corners with little grilles make it look quite industrial. It could easily be a prop from the Alien films. It’s a good look though!

We first saw the Nokia E7 late last year but if the rumours are to be believed there have been ongoing issues with manufacturing which has led to a number of delays. However, the E7 has now been made available for pre-order from a number of retailers with stock expected next week.

Here I have another unboxing for you and this time it is of another Nokia X3 but this one is aptly named the Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type, I say aptly simply because it has both a touch screen interface as well as an alphanumerical keypad go boot so you get the best of both worlds with this device.

Nokia do seem to like their reiteration of names for their handsets because it was only in february this year that they released their first X3 which was an XpressMusic phone, now what’s special about this device is that it is Nokia’s first ever Touch and Type phone with an alphanumerical keypad as opposed to the QWERTY on such devices as the new C6, but what is also very interesting about the X3-02 is the fact it’s Nokia’s first touch screen phone to have Symbian Series 40 which suggests that they strongly believe that this device will do well in the market.

The Nokia N8 is the first Symbian3 handset that we’ve looked at so I am looking forward to trying it out, comparing it to earlier versions of Symbian (I’m still using my C6) and also to other handsets that we have in reviewing at the moment. I think this must also be the first Nokia handset to have a built-in, non-user replacable battery. I guess it works for the iPhone but I wonder if this will be a point of contention for Nokia.

Hopefully you will have seen the cool NokiaBox video that we recorded in central London. We were invited to take part in the #NokiaBox event which took place in 4 cities around the world. This ended up being on of the biggest unboxings that we’ve ever done and the first one we’ve done outside in front of an audience!

This is the follow-up unboxing video where I go in to a lot more detail about the handset and it’s specification before spending a few minutes looking at the OS.

Nokia C6 #NokiaBox unboxing video

Well this one was a little bit different. Having been teased by Nokie over the NokiaBox for the past few weeks I was invited to a meeting in London. Little did I know that I would be led to the Millennium Bridge and asked to unbox the Nokia C6 in what is possibly the biggest unboxing that we’ve ever carried out!

It was great fun to unbox in the open air in front of a large crowd. Didn’t get much close up on camera so I’ll have a more ‘normal’ unboxing for you soon.

Nokia N900 unboxing video

Nokia E52 unboxing video

The 20-key compact QWERTY of the E55 wasn’t to everyone’s liking so Nokia have now come up with the Nokia E52. The E52 looks almost identical to the E55 but instead of the compact QWERTY offers a standard numeric keypad.
