At under £60 the phone is lacking a few features such as Wi-Fi and 3G but it does offer great social network integration and includes its own Facebook client.

LG have just added to their popular Viewty range and have introduced the LG Viewty GT aka LG GT405.

The Viewty GT has a 3″ touchscreen display and is very much geared for web access and social networking. It includes Google Maps, Search and Mail, Skype, Facebook and Twitter right out of the box.

Other features include a 5 megapixel camera (minus flash), GPS, Quad band connectivity with 3G and HSDPA. About the only other thing missing is WiFi.

There’s a raft of new Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets hitting the market at the moment. LG want a piece of the action and have launched the LG GM750. The GM750 is quite similar in form and spec. to the Samsung Omnia Lite that we reviewed a few days ago. It’s strange how LG and Samsung often seem to have very similar handsets out at the same time!

This is one handset that we’ve had repeated requests to unbox and review on site and this week I managed to get my hands on the LG GD900 Crystal. I have to say it’s a great looking handset with an impressive touchscreen display and an equally impressive transparent sliding keypad, hence the Crystal name.

The LG Viewty Smart looks like a worth successor to the popular LG Viewty which has been around for over 18 months. The new handset offers a larger and higher res touchscreen display as well as an improved 8 megapixel camera, TV output (with additional cable), AGPS, photo geotagging, Google maps, etc.

LG Arena (KM900) unboxing video

You may have seen the adverts for the LG Arena on TV where the phone is demonstrated as a completely touch-screen device. Fans of the HTC Touch may hove noticed some similarities between the user interface on the Arena and the Touch Cube on the HTC Touch.

The LG Arena has an extremely sensitive screen thanks to the capacitive technology used. It’s similar in response to the iPhone but has higher-res WVGA (480×800) screen that will help you make the most of your videos as the Arena will even playback DivX/Xvid Video.

The Secret is certainly a good looking phone and one that you’ll probably want to show off to all of your friends. There’s a touchscreen and built in touch panel with haptic feedback, it seems that more and more phones have some element of touch screen action these days.
