The BlackBerry Torch 9860 has arrived with us and although early days I am pretty impressed. The Torch 9860 is currently the Blackberry with the biggest screen so if media is a main use of your phone then this one may be right up your street.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 unboxing video

The 9900 is Research in Monitions first ‘Bold’ device to sport a capacitive touch screen and with it also being powered by a 1.2GHz processor (not the 1GHz I stupidly say in the video) this thing is a real beast. Running BlackBerry 7, the 9900 is the first of 7 BlackBerry smartphones to launch this year running this version of the OS.

I was lucky enough to be given the new BlackBerry Bold by RIM today for review. The new 9780′s hardware is not that different to its predecessor, the 9700, but we do get a few improvements.

First off is the camera, now a 5 megapixel. Next we get a memory upgrade to 512mb. And best off all the Bold 9780 comes with BlackBerry 6. This is the first non touch screen BlackBerry to launch here in the UK with the new OS.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Unboxing Video

As you can imagine I was rather excited when I got a phone call today from RIM to say that they had a Torch review unit in at long last. It seems like ages ago that I was at the launch event where we saw the live stream from the States where the Torch 9800 was launched on AT&T.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 unboxing video

The BlackBerry Curve 3G has not changed too much compared to its predecessor, the 8520, but the big difference is the added bonus of 3G.

There are also a couple of physical changes. The 9300 now has a chrome bezel similar to the 9700 and its battery cover is also new. No longer smooth but now with a kind of mottled affect.

With the UK carriers yet to announce which if them will sell the 9300 we are still in the dark when it comes to pricing but in the meantime we will crack on with the review.

BlackBerry 9105 Pearl 3G unboxing video

The BlackBerry Pearl is nothing new but the 3G version is and we have been lucky enough to get one prior to the device going on sale.

The 9105 also has a brother, the 9100. The 9100 has two letters per key, like we have seen before and the 9105 has three letters per key, more like a traditional feature phone.

The 9105 is the only version we will see here in the UK and I think it’s a wise choice.

Blackberry Storm 9500 unboxing video

The Blackberry Storm 9500 is an interesting looking touch screen device from RIM. Larger and heavier than the other devices in the Blackberry range it does offer a decent amount of memory and fast CPU. Add that to the touchscreen and accelerometer and you have a good combination – many of HTC’s recent devices prove that!

Blackberry Curve 8900 unboxing video

In this unboxing video I have a look at the Blackberry 8900 (RIM Javelin) which many people are refering to as the new mini Blackberry Bold and looking at the handset its easy to see why. The 8900 is in fact a new Curve model though.

The screen is extremely clear and sharp thanks to the 480×360 pixels being packed in to just a 2.4″ diagonal screen. The resolution and OS setup are the same as the Blackberry Bold.
