The HTC Rhyme is another of those HTC handsets that’s been know about for a while, although was previously known to the community as the HTC Bliss. Styling-wise the Rhyme is very much your typical HTC android powered phone but the colour has meant that many critics have jumped to say that the Rhyme is ‘too girly’ for the mass market. Personally I’m not convinced that’s true. Having had the Rhyme in my hand I think the colour is quite nice and I have no problem with it at all.

Following on from our video of the HTC Titan from a few days ago we now have our hands on the HTC Radar. Smaller than the HTC Titan the Radar is a slightly more pocketable 3.8″ but has the same Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system.

The HTC Radar is similar to the HTC Mozart from last year with a slightly larger screen and updated OS, the other specs are much the same. However, The HTC Radar offers a premium design. Crafted from a single piece of polished metal, the phone just feels great in your hands and is built to last.

That said, it has had an upgrade to its processor, now at 1Ghz which will please buyers. Running Android 2.3 the Motorola Defy+ comes with a reasonable price tag of only £246.00 including VAT sim free.

Upon first inspection the ‘ray’ looks a bit like a smaller Arc with similar design elements. The thing that really stands about about the ray, though, is the display. Despite it being only a 3.3 inch screen SE have managed to cram 480×854 pixels in to that small space and the result is an extremely sharp screen with high pixel-density and it looks great.

The Monte Carlo is actually the ZTE Skate but you can’t buy that yet so if you want a big Android phone that wont break the bank I suggest giving this one some thought.
